Online Courses – Civil Defence College

Welcome to Civil Defence – Online Course Resource

The following courses are free to participate on. Many of the courses are provided by a range of universities or closer to home, the HSA. Course duration differs, typically ranging from an hour to programmes run over two – three weeks.

To participate, you will be invited to register with the provider and this ensures you can undertake the course in your own time, stop at any point and return later.

If you complete one of the course(s) and you wish for it to be credited against your volunteer record on the volunteer register, please send the completed details (e.g. a screenshot of the “Course Completed” page) to your CDO who will in turn pass it to us here in Civil Defence Branch to record against your details on the volunteer register.
