Westmeath Civil Defence Activities – December 2021

Westmeath carried out the following activities so far in December 2021:

Reception of contents, packing and preparation for delivery of 1,000 care packs on behalf of Westmeath County Council Community and Corporate Services Department from 29th November to 3rd December.
Brian Gillen, CDO and members of An Garda Siochána drawing the prize numbers and supervising the Mullingar Credit Union car, cash prizes and hampers draw on Saturday 4th December 2021. The draw was conducted away from the public office due to the prevalence of Covid-19 in the community and the length of time required to draw 85 prizes.
Reception of contents, preparation for and packing of 1,000 food hampers on behalf of Westmeath Community Development and their delivery. This operation was carried out from 1st – 7th December.
