Sligo Civil Defence – Retirement of Annie Mullaney, Casualty Instructor

Annie Mullaney Casualty instructor and volunteer of Civil Defence for 41 years retired in September of last year. Her retirement was marked by a special dinner and presentation night held in her honour in April of this year. It took us 6 months to pin her down to a date to have the presentation night. A busy lady even in retirement!!!!! Annie taught in all of the Civil Defence centre’s throughout Sligo during her time as Casualty instructor and has great memories of years gone by in Civil Defence.
