Galway Civil Defence – Drive By

On Saturday 6th June all 5 units of Galway Civil Defence, namely Loughrea, Clonberne, Galway City, Oranmore and Ballinasloe participated in a drive by with a convoy of 19 vehicles to show their support for two very valued members of the unit.

Commander Robert Rosbotham and Officer Margaret Hoare of the Loughrea unit were scheduled to get married on 6th June but due to COVID-19 restrictions had to postpone. Both are paramedics with the National Ambulance Service and much respected members of the Galway Civil Defence family.

A bigger celebration awaits next year.
