Acknowledgement of Search Efforts – Tipperary

Tipperary Civil Defence Officer, Dolores Fahey wishes to acknowledge the support of her Civil Defence Officer colleagues, the assistance of the Civil Defence Headquarters and the massive effort from Civil Defence volunteers from Tipperary, Waterford, Cork South, Cork West, Dublin and Galway throughout the eight-day search which concluded with the successful recovery of the body of the missing teenager. The civil Defence resources included Land Search teams, Drone Units, K9 Units and Boat Units who operated with great efficiency alongside their inter agency colleagues from An Garda Síochána, the Irish Coast Guard Rescue Helicopter- Rescue 117, the Nenagh Ormonde Search unit, Waterford Marine SAR and Carrick River Rescue.
