Civil Defence Supports “Home to Rome” Cycle

Caroline McConnell of Kerry Civil Defence is travelling to Rome along with a group of 25 cyclists who are raising money for various cancer charities. Caroline is a qualified Emergency Medical Technician. The Home to Rome charity group presented a framed cycling jersey to the Civil Defence College in Roscrea. The photograph shows Bill Smith, Aidan Dillon, Kevin Kelly, Caroline McConnell and Roisin McGuire with the jersey. The cyclists depart on 21st June and will take 2 weeks to complete their 2,000km journey.
