Cork City Civil Defence – Voluntary Services Exhibition – 14-15 September 2012

A Voluntary Services Exhibition was held at Cork City Hall on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th September 2012.

The Voluntary Emergency Services took part in a number of simulated exercises on Saturday 15th September. A ‘water display’ involving the Port of Cork , Civil Defence and the Naval Service took place on Saturday adjacent to other activities at Kennedy Quay.

Cork Civil Defence played a major part in the event, the Search & Rescue, Boat Unit and Auxiliary Fire Service Unit being particularly active.

The Cork Civil Defence Promotion Stand hosted a large number of visitors over the duration of the 2-day event.
