Dublin Civil Defence – Filling of Water Tanks

In the aftermath of the recent bout of severe weather Dublin Civil Defence have been deployed by Dublin City Council since Thursday 8th March to fill water tanks at Dolphin House Flats Complex. An average of 12 Civil Defence volunteers, using 1 Water Tanker and 1 Fire Appliance have with the assistance of a Mobile Crane been replenishing the rooftop water tanks. There are also plans to replicate the tasking at both St Catherine’s and St Loman’s hospitals.
