Dublin Civil Defence – Filling of Water Tanks

In the aftermath of the recent bout of severe weather Dublin Civil Defence have been deployed by Dublin City Council since Thursday 8^th March to fill water tanks at Dolphin House Flats Complex. An average of 12 Civil Defence volunteers, using 1 Water Tanker and 1 Fire Appliance have with the assistance of a Mobile Crane been replenishing the rooftop water tanks. There are also plans to replicate the tasking at both St Catherine’s and St Loman’s hospitals.
