Dublin Civil Defence – Search & Recovery Activity – January 2013
On Thursday 10th January Dublin Civil Defence was activated to assist in a search for a missing 25 year old man, who went missing on Christmas day.
On Saturday 12th January a total of 86 Civil Defence members from Dublin, Kildare, Meath and Louth participated in a search of the environs of Rush, north County Dublin for the missing man. The Fingal County Council Command Vehicle was operated by Civil Defence personnel for the duration of the search.
The search was carried out from the south beach car park with the emphasis on the lands between the south beach and Rush main street. The teams were stood down at 4.40 pm as darkness was falling.
