Donegal Civil Defence – Darkness Into Light Walk – May 2014

Over 1,000 people took part in the first ever Pieta House, Darkness into Light walk for suicide prevention in Letterkenny. Donegal Civil Defence provided Ambulance and First Aid cover for the duration of the event and also had 10 members walk the route in aid of the charity while four members braved the elements to run the 5km.

80,000 people took part across Ireland with members of the Irish Diaspora also taking part in events in London and Sydney.
