RTÉ News ran a piece on Saturday evening last on the issue of Dublin City Civil Defence providing temporary accommodation to the homeless.

Civil Defence was contacted by the authorities to assist given the growing homeless problem in the city in recent months. A 20-bed facility has been opened at the Civil Defence Headquarters, Wolfe Tone Quay, providing emergency beds to meet the demand.
