Inishannon Search Operation

Cork West Civil Defence was activated at 2pm on Sunday 29th November by Bandon Garda HQ to assist in the search for a missing person near Innishannon.

Cork West Civil Defence Drone Unit, Search Response and Boat Teams were deployed, with support from Irish Search Dogs.

The missing man was located alive by the Cork West Civil Defence Search Team in a derelict building 1Km from the last reported sighting of the man.

 The man was treated at the scene by Cork West Civil Defence EMTs before handover to the National Ambulance Service.
