Kerry – Severe Weather Relief Efforts

10 members of Kerry Civil Defence from the AFS Unit and the Welfare Unit have been activated to the Tralee area since 7am on Tuesday 26th January following a night of high winds and heavy rain. Members have been deploying sandbags to flood threatened areas throughout the town.

Volunteers deployed sandbags and monitored water levels following high tide at 6pm on Tuesday evening

1 Fire Truck and 2 4WDs were utilised
