Laois – Search for Missing Person

Laois Civil Defence was activated by An Garda Síochána on 6th September to assist in the search for a missing person after the Electric Picnic music festival in Stradbally, Co.Laois. The teenager had been missing from Monday morning and was located safe and well during the search on Tuesday afternoon. Units from Stradbally, Durrow and Mountmellick were in attendance as well as volunteers from Kildare Civil Defence. The Gardaí also requested assistance from the Laois Civil Defence K9 and SUA (Drone) units.
