Limerick City Civil Defence – Search and Recovery Operation – 6th February 2013
The water rescue unit of the Limerick City Civil Defence recovered a body from the River Shannon near Meelick Creek this afternoon.

The search has been ongoing on the river since a man was seen entering the water at Sarsfield Bridge in Limerick City last Monday week with the aid of the Limerick Marine Search & Rescue and the Irish Coastguard Helicopter.
