Mayo Civil Defence – St Patrick’s Weekend Festivities 2014

Mayo Civil Defence units participated in four parades around the county this year.
On Sunday 16th March the Castlebar Unit took part in the Castlebar parade, while the Ballina Unit attended the Ballina parade that afternoon.
On St Patricks Day the Castlebar unit travelled to the Newport parade and Ballina members took part in the Swinford festivities.
On St Patrick’s night Volunteers assisted with traffic control measures in Castlebar as part of the homecoming event organised for the All Ireland Football Club Championship Final participants – Castlebar Mitchels.
