Laois Civil Defence host TY Students

Laois Civil Defence welcomed transition year students from schools across Laois to their headquarters as part of their experience week with An Garda Síochána, Laois/Offaly division. Members of the Laois unit gave demonstrations into some of the services Civil Defence provide to the community.

New Dublin Civil Defence HQ, Official Opening

On Monday 30th September, Tánaiste and Minister for Defence, Micheál Martin TD opened the new Dublin Civil Defence Headquarters in Cherry Orchard, Dublin. The new facility will serve as a vital hub supporting it’s mission to provide voluntary emergency services to communities across city and county.
