On Sunday 16th June, Roscommon Civil Defence volunteers provided medical cover in Hyde Park, Roscommon for the qualifier game between Mayo and Dublin.

Dublin Mountain Challenge

Dublin Civil Defence provided medical, rescue and comms support for the 42k Dublin Mountain Challenge in aid of Barrettstown on Sunday 26th May. Support was provided by the Meath Civil Defence welfare catering unit, which provided breakfast and lunch for all involved in the event.

Longford Search Operation

Longford Civil Defence, assisted by colleagues from Mayo (Drone Unit), Roscommon and Offaly (Search Teams), Meath and Dublin (K9 Units) recovered the body of a missing person on Thursday evening 23rd May following a 12-day search operation.

Military Pilgrimage to Lourdes 2024

Europa League Final – Aviva Stadium

24 May 2024

Dublin Civil Defence provided Fire, Rescue and Medical Cover for the Europa League Final in the Aviva Stadium on Tuesday evening, 21st May. The unit also provided transport for An Garda Síochána from the RDS to the Stadium with assistance from Offaly, Kildare, Kilkenny, Louth, Laois, Wicklow and Meath units.

Malahide Show

Dublin Civil Defence had their Green Goddess on display at the Malahide Vintage Car show at the weekend (19 May). It had a lot of attractions as always. Well done to the crew that looks after it so well.
