New AFS Instructor Course

New AFS Instructor course starts today, 27 November 2019 in Roscrea. The course is being run in conjunction with the National Directorate for Fire and Emergency Management over the next 3 days. There are 11 volunteer instructors attending from counties Kildare, Monaghan, Meath, Donegal, Westmeath, Offaly, Kerry, Waterford and Wexford

Additional Civil Defence Funding Announced by Minister Kehoe

Minister Kehoe announces Allocation of additional €1 million to Civil Defence. Today the Minister with Responsibility for Defence, Paul Kehoe T.D. confirmed the allocation of an additional €1 million to his Department’s Civil Defence Budget. Missing Person Search – Cork North

Cork North Civil Defence were requested by the local gardaí yesterday  to a missing person search in the Cork North area.  Crews responded promptly and thankfully the person was found safe and well. Thanks to all the volunteers that made themselves available for the search.
