Missing Person Search Carrigtouhill

Cork North Civil Defence were activated by An Garda Síochána at 8.15 this morning to assist with the search for a missing person in Carrigtouhill.  11 Civil Defence volunteers between both Cork North and Cork City were on duty for the search . This afternoon the remains were recovered (RIP).

Search for missing Fisherman, Cork West

The Cork West Civil Defence Drone Team were deployed on Thursday morning to assist in the search for a fisherman who failed to return to port yesterday evening. The man was reported missing shortly after 8.30pm on Wednesday evening in Dunmanus Bay, West Cork.
