Kerry Civil Defence are on duty for the seven days of Listowel Harvest Festival Raceweek (Sunday 8th – Saturday 14th September) . The unit has  three Ambulances, two 4WD Vehicles and two First-Aid Crews working alongside four doctors.

Electric Picnic 2019

Laois Civil Defence installed the floating pontoon on Tuesday 27th August in preparation for the lake swimming at this year’s Electric Picnic Festival. The structure allows swimmers safe access in and out of Stradbally Lake.  


Rose of Tralee Festival 2019

Kerry Civil Defence provided medical cover at all Rose of Tralee Festival events which took place over the week, commencing Sunday 25th August including the International Rose Ball culminating in the main event on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th. The Unit also had a Radio Controller at the event Medical Centre in Tralee town.
