Metallica Concert, Slane Castle – 8th June 2019

Meath Civil Defence teams, assisted by Cavan, Dublin and Monaghan units provided medical cover in the arena, water safety on the River Boyne and crowd safety at Slane Bridge as well as Welfare Catering for the 124 volunteers on duty during th ecourse of the Metallica Concert at Slane Castle on Saturday 8th June.

Barrettstown – Dublin Mountain Challenge 2019

The Dublin Mountain Challenge was held on Sunday 26th May 2019 in support of Barrettstown. Dublin Civil Defence provided Medical, Rescue and Welfare cover for this event. There were 136 Volunteers on duty, utilising 37 Vehicles and a wonderful hot meal was provided for 560 participants and Volunteers.
