Barrettstown – Dublin Mountain Challenge 2019

The Dublin Mountain Challenge was held on Sunday 26th May 2019 in support of Barrettstown. Dublin Civil Defence provided Medical, Rescue and Welfare cover for this event. There were 136 Volunteers on duty, utilising 37 Vehicles and a wonderful hot meal was provided for 560 participants and Volunteers.

New Headquarters for Monaghan Civil Defence

Construction is well underway for the new headquarters for Monaghan Civil Defence. This is being built alongside the Fire Station at Monaghan town. The volunteers expect to be in their new purpose built training facility by the end of the year.
