Donegal – Severe Weather Efforts

Donegal Civil Defence was activated at approximately 10pm on Tuesday night, 22nd January to provide a 4X4 Ambulance to the Inishowen  area. Missing Person Search – Tipperary

15 January 2019

Tipperary Civil Defence were tasked at 2am, last Saturday morning the 12th January by Thurles Gardai to assist with the search for a missing person in the Thurles area. After a number of hours searching using ground crews and the K9 unit the person was located safe and well.


Galway Search – January 2019

14 January 2019

Galway Civil Defence Boat  and Drone Units were activated on Friday 11th January to assist the Costelloe Bay Unit of the Irish Coastguard in the search for a missing man. The search continued on Saturday 12th January. When Rescue 115 was tasked to the search area Civil Defence ceased drone operations.
