Missing Person Search, Galway

On Thursday night, 4th April Galway Civil Defence was contacted by An Garda Síochána, Tuam to assist in the search of the River Clare for a missing person in the environs of Curraghline to the River Corrib. Galway Civil Defence Boat Crew are en route to the search area this morning.

An Garda Síochána Life Saver Project

An Garda Síochána Roads Policing, visited the Mayo Civil Defence HQ on Wednesday evening, 3rd April to deliver The Lifesaver Project. This hard hitting and realistic road safety presentation highlights the devastating effects that road traffic collisions can have.
