Kerry – Flood Relief Efforts

4 October 2016

Following incessant overnight rain which has continued into the daylight hours, Kerry Civil Defence was deployed on Tuesday 4th October to the Caherciveen area with 300 filled sandbags and two jeeps. A further 500 sandbags have been deployed to Portmagee. A total of 16 volunteer members are assisting in the flood relief efforts.
