Missing Person Search – Clare

Clare Civil Defence members are assisting with the on-going missing persons search on the River Fergus. A huge volume of work has been put in since Clare Civil Defence received the call to assist An Garda Siochana and Clare County Fire & Rescue Service late on Thursday night. Their boat crew were deployed and on the water within 15 minutes of receiving the call. Thank you also to our colleagues from the subaqua clubs of Ennis, Burren, Kilkee, Lough Derg, Killaloe/Ballina Search & Recovery including members of Limerick subaqua club who conducted dives in the river over the past two days. The search was also joined today by the Underwater Unit of An Garda Siochana.
