Missing Persons Search – Kilkenny

On Sunday morning 21st December, Kilkenny Civil Defence was tasked by An Garda Síochána to assist in the search for a missing person in Kilkenny City. 12 volunteers assembled to search the River Nore and surrounding areas. The search was suspended at 5.30pm. The search resumed at 9am on Monday 22nd December. At 11am the body of the missing person was recovered by Kilkenny Civil Defence Boat Crews.

Kilkenny Civil Defence personnel was thanked by the family and Kilkenny Gardaí for their support and professionalism.
