Ploughing Championships 2024

Civil Defence hosted a huge number of visitors to our stand at the Ploughing Championships in Ratheniska over the course of the threes days 17-19 September.

Civil Defence volunteers from Kilkenny, Wicklow, Offaly, Tipperary, Carlow, Kildare, Longford met visitors from all corners of the country.

Our extensive collection of vehicles and equipment were on display and CPR demonstrations attracted visitors young and older to participate and learn while having some fun.

The Laois unit were also on duty for the course of the three days supporting the NPA and An Garda Síochána.
