Regional Exercises 2014 – Limerick County – 6th April

Limerick County hosted the second of the 2014 Regional Exercise on Sunday 6th April at Civil Defence Headquarter in the environs of Annacotty Business Park. The exercise incorporated five competitive sites comprising:

• Casualty/Rescue
• AFS & Flooding
• Communications
• Team Challenge
• Footdrill

Limerick City, Clare, Tipperary North, Offaly and Cork South units competed. At the end of an Exercise which tested and showcased the capabilities and skills of the competitors the Tipperary North team emerged victorious. Presentations were made to the winning team at a Presentation Dinner in the Kilmurray Lodge Hotel, Limerick
