Wexford Civil Defence – Search & Recovery Activity – November 2011

Wexford Civil Defence was activated by An Garda Síochána on Saturday 19th November to assist in the search for a missing person in Wexford town. 35 Volunteer members took part in the search providing transport, search teams, maps and welfare backup. The missing man’s body was recovered at approximately 4pm on Saturday and the search was stood down. The Gardaí and the family of the deceased man were very appreciative of the assistance provided by Wexford Civil Defence.
