Wexford – June 2014 Activities

Maritime Festival:
Wexford Civil Defence took part in the Wexford Maritime Festival held on 28th and 29th June.

  • 25 members took part over the course of the weekend
  • Provided safety boat cover
  • Gave demonstrations of Civil Defence skills and equipment on the Quayfront

Annual IMSARC Conference:
The Annual IMSARC conference was held in Wexford on 28th and 29th June with demonstrations from AirCorp, Navy, RNLI, Coastguard helicopter and units. 25 Civil Defence members were on duty over the course of the event.

Waterford Marathon:
Wexford Civil Defence provided Ambulance and First-Aid cover at Waterford marathon on 29th June.

New Ross Community Event:
Wexford Civil Defence provided Ambulance and First-Aid cover at a community event in New Ross over the weekend of 28th and 29th June.
