Galway Civil Defence Officer Appointment
Congratulations are extended to Mr Brendan Qualter on his appointment to the position of Civil Defence Officer with Galway County Council.
Brendan, who commenced in his new position on Monday 23rd July, has been a long serving member of Civil Defence, signing up as a Volunteer member in 1981. He served as a ‘Man-Pack’ Rescue Instructor in his early years and progressed to become a First-Aid Instructor, attaining CFR, OFA and EMT certification. In addition to his devoted service to Civil Defence Brendan has served full-time in the Fire Service for a 24 year period.
