Kerry – Protection of Drinking Water, Listowel

Kerry Civil Defence Boat Unit was activated by the Local Authority at 10am on Friday 23rd July to assist in the protection of the drinking water in Listowel town. The four members of the Boat Unit have been carrying out work during the course of the day in laying a boom across the River Feale.
