​Kerry Civil Defence was activated following a call from Tralee Garda station on Sunday 2nd July at 12.25. A 19 year ld male was reported missing by his friends. He was last seen at 5am walking towards the outskirts of Tralee. Civil Defence provided a search team eight and the boat unit was activated to search the canal area. The search was stood down at 2pm when the missing person was found alive and well.
