Limerick Civil Defence – Official Opening of New Training Centre

The official opening of Limerick Civil Defence’s new training centre took place on Thursday night, 14th January. The new centre at the Docklands Business Park is a replacement for the venerable Thomas Street premises which served as the Civil Defence base in the city for many years. The opening was carried out by the Mayor of Limerick, Councillor Liam Galvin.

Congratulations to Civil Defence Officer, Cecilia O’Flaherty and her volunteers who put in a lot of work preparing this fine new centre, which is in addition to the existing base at Annacotty.
