Louth Civil Defence Flood Relief Efforts – February 2014

Louth Civil Defence was activated by the Local Authority on Saturday morning, 1st February in anticipation of flooding due to the incoming high tides in Blackrock, Co Louth.
Five Civil Defence members were deployed, among whom was one swift water rescue technician. The Volunteer members were deployed along the sea wall to assist with public safety during the danger period.
