Meath, Missing Person Search

Meath Civil Defence received a call fron Navan Gardaì at 10pm on Sunday night, 19th November requesting assistance in the search of the environs of Navan for a missing person. 16 members from Navan 1 and Navan 2 units responded to the call and conducted targeted hasty land searches radiating out from the last known point the person was seen. The search concluded at 12.55am.
The search resumed early on Monday morning, 20th November. The K9 team, land search teams, command and control and swift water teams have all been involved this morning and were joined by a Drone team this afternoon. All teams are working closely in coordination with the Gardaì.
Resources provided on search duties on Tuesday 21st November included Swift water team, 2 search dogs, a drone team and land search teams. Volunteers from Cavan, Monaghan and Dublin units assisted their Meath colleagues.
