Meath – Missing Persons Search

The search for two missing persons in the Navan area continued in spite of the severe weather conditions over the course of the weekend of 9-10 December. The searches have been conducted in the environs of Navan. Assistance has been provided by the Drogheda Coastguard Unit and the Meath K9 Dog Unit was also activated to assist.
The search activity in Navan has to date involved Civil Defence coordination personnel, the Garda Water Unit, the Boyne Fishermen’s Rescue Service, the Meath River Rescue, the Leinster River Rescue and Defence Forces personnel.
