Meath Search Operation

Meath Civil Defence was tasked on Saturday evening, 5th August by An Garda Síochána to assist with a search in Duleek for a missing gentleman who was last seen on Friday morning.
The search has continued on a daily basis with Civil Defence ground search teams, three search dog teams, two drone teams, a kayak team, swift water team and a rope rescue team. Civil Defence has been joined by a Dublin Missing Persons team, a dive team from Alpha Dive and members of Meath River Rescue.
A Civil Defence Search Manager is coordinating the search with An Garda Síochána. Civil Defence members from Dublin, Cavan and Tipperary Civil Defence have selflessly provided assistance to their Meath colleagues.
The body of the missing person has been recovered. RIP.
