Meath Search Operation, Navan

The River Boyne search for a man who entered the river on 22nd November continued over the course of the weekend of 5-6 December. Sunday 6th December started with the rescue of a girl who entered the river in Navan. A Meath River Rescue boat was on the water as part of the ongoing search for the missing man and was quickly on the scene to safely take the girl from the water. Civil Defence, Drogheda Coastguard, Meath River Rescue; Leinster River Rescue, Drogheda River Rescue and Boyne Fishermen Rescue were all involved in the weekend search.
