New Headquarters for Monaghan Civil Defence

Construction is well underway for the new headquarters for Monaghan Civil Defence. This is being built alongside the Fire Station at Monaghan town. The volunteers expect to be in their new purpose built training facility by the end of the year.

First sod turned on site of new Meath Civil Defence HQ & Training Centre

Gorse Fires – Donegal

Today, Monday 22nd April at 11.21 hrs Donegal Civil Defence AFS Unit were activated by the Chief Fire Officer and Director of Services to respond to gorse fires in the Loughanure, Annagry areas of Donegal. Currently there is one Civil Defence Fire appliance and 12 Person crew responding.
