Louth Civil Defence was placed on standby on Monday morning 24th July to assist with distribution of water . Since Tuesday, 25th July up to 11 Civil Defence volunteers, with 2 Jeeps have been deployed delivering bottled water to vulnerable households from early morning to 10pm. Duties are expected to continue until Friday 28th July.
