Roscommon Boat Unit Assistance to Cruiser on Lough Ree

The Roscommon Civil Defence Boat Unit was called upon to assist a Cruiser that had run aground on Lough Ree on Sunday 25th October. The crew accessed the situation and successfully refloated the Cruiser. There were no injuries reported.

Tipperary Boat Units training on Lough Derg

Tipperarys combined Boat Units were in action training on Lough Derg today on Saturday 17th October. Volunteers covered Navigation Drills, M-O-B Man over Board drills, Marine VHF Procedures and general familiarisation in the area of operations.
