Missing Person Search – Kerry, July 2014

Kerry Civil Defence members found and recovered the body of a man at 1pm on Wednesday 30th July 2014.

The Kerry Civil Defence Search & Rescue Unit had been activated by An Garda Síochána to assist in the search for the man since he was reported missing on Monday 28th July. An extensive search of an area of rough terrain which consisted of bog, forest and deep ravines outside of Tralee and Kilduff was undertaken over the course of the past three days, supported by the Coastguard helicopter and SARDA search dogs.
