Missing Person Search – Silver Strand, Galway

A multi-agency search was activated by An Garda Síochána on Tuesday 12^th November. Civil Defence, the Irish Coastguard, RNLI, and a number of local search resources responded and commenced the search for the missing swimmer at Silver Strand, Co Galway.

Galway Civil Defence have been operating a mobile Command and Control Unit on site at Silver Strand carpark. Assistance has been provided by Mayo and Laois Drone Teams over the course of the search up to and including the weekend of 16-17 November.
