Missing Persons Search, Clare

Clare Civil Defence are assisting the Gardai and the Coast Guard in the ongoing search for two missing Japanese tourists. The search is continuing on the coastline and cliffs around George’s Head, near Kilkee where a car hired by the couple was found in a car park. Twelve Civil Defence volunteers took part in the search on Thursday. Further searches are planned for the coming days, including the deployment of Civil Defence search dogs and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Eiji Takagi, 63, and Ushio Azaki, 61, have not been seen since last Saturday, 22 August.
