National Ploughing Championships

All are welcome to visit the Civil Defence stand at this year’s National Ploughing Championships in Fenagh, Co Carlow from Tuesday 17th September to Thursday 19th September.

The Civil Defence display area is located within the Government of Ireland Village at Block 4 – Row 19 – Stand 418. On the display is,

• A communications vehicle from Laois Civil Defence
• A new Ford Ranger from Wexford Civil Defence
• A Whaly Boat from Carlow Civil Defence
• The Hagglund from Dublin Civil Defence
• A 4×4 ambulance from Tipperary Civil Defence
• The transporter for carrying the Hagglund from Dublin Civil Defence

In addition to the outside exhibition area, there is a small marquee on the exhibition area within which the intention is to display drones and to allow the public undertake CPR if they wish.

We hope our attendance at the event will allow the public to see the important work that Civil Defence does up and down the country on an annual basis.
