Civil Defence personnel continue to assist in the search operation in Glandore with search teams, boat crews, communications and GIS personnel and transport duties.
Civil Defence have registered 749 personnel over 17 days, at an average of 44 per day. Each duty has been on average 8 hours giving a total of 5,992 working hours to the operation.
LE Orla departed on Tuesday 31st January. Naval Service divers completed operations yesterday, Wednesday 1st February and Garda divers will not dive again until Friday 3rd February. The Customs cutter is now co-ordinating the sea search on scene.
