Waterford Boating Exercise – 11th November 2017

Waterford Civil Defence hosted their regions boating exercise on sat the 11th of November 2017. Volunteers participated in workshops in the morning on communications, body recovery, swift water rescue and PPE. In the afternoon they were challenged with a simulated cruising galley restaurant sinking which involved the rescue recovery and treatment of multiple causalities from the water.
