Waterford Search – Ballymacarbry, 18th December 2018

Waterford Civil Defence Unit were deployed today, 18^th December 2018 by An Garda Síochána to assist in the search for a person reported missing since Saturday night/Sunday morning.

15 Civil Defence members, consisting of members of Waterford Civil Defence, assisted by the Waterford and Tipperary Drone teams and the Tipperary K9, Search Dog Unit conducted a search of the Ballymacarbry area.

Following a very efficient inter-agency search operation, the body of the missing person was recovered at approximately 1pm (RIP).
